Total number of student is 1152
Total number of student live in Hong Kong is 1152 /2 = 576
Total number of student live in Kowloon is 432
Total number of student live in NT is 1152 - 576 - 432 = 144
Total number of student live in Tsuen Wan is 144 * 1/6 = 24
fraction of the students are living in Tsuen Wan is 24/1152 = 1/48

(b)
fraction of the students are living on Hong Kong = (576 + 12) / 1152
= 49 / 96

1a. 〔1152 ﹣(1152÷2﹢432)〕 ÷5/6
=〔1152-(576﹢432)〕 ÷5/6
=〔1152-1008〕 ÷5/6
= 144÷5/6
= 172.8
∴About 173/1152 students were living in Tsuen Wan.

1b. 172.8÷ 2﹢(1152÷2)
=86.4﹢576
=662.4
∴About 663/1152 students were living in Hong Kong Island.
