May I go to the toilet, please?

May I go to the toilet, please?

而幾時唔用 the 即係 "go to + 地方名詞"。
I go to school.
I am going to heaven.
He is going to hell.

Both are correct.

Reasons:

"May I go to toilet, please?"

=> when the sentence has lefted out the word "the", it means you are making a request to go to toilet, in general. Grammatically it is correct when you refer to your action/wish in going to toilet or loo (loo is a slang for toilet).

"May I go to the toilet, please?"

=> Normally when you added the word "the", it explicitly pointed out to "the toilet". In this sense, you are referring to a specific toilet in your mind and you wish to go to the place instead of the action.

Hope this helps.

the first one is right, because you need a preposition before a subject

well sometimes people dont say it that bluntly, you can say "May i use the restroom" instead, but either one is fine
