watch:注視 ,觀看

1. watch out/watch up/ watch --always follow a perposition to mean sth.
2. watch a movie or concert /tv / watch a person ( a concentrated activity/ action)

read:閱讀,讀懂;覺察
read a book/ read one's mind/ read a sentence --
read always involve thinking/understanding/meaning of something

look:看
looking at sth. / looking at you/ Look! -
always means an action at the moment

see:查看,目睹
See the doctor/ see his grandma / see the rainbow / see the accident
always means visit/ witness sth.

呢d字的用法係約定俗成的,一早定咗係咁,冇得解~

watch:
e.g.watch movie,watch tv, watch somebody(監視,觀察某人)

read:
e.g.read a book,newspaper,read the thermometer(看溫度計),read a passage(誦讀一段文字)

look(usually followed by preposition):
e.g. look at something,somebody,look through the window

see:
e.g.see a movie,a competition, see somebody

其實仲有好多好多用法,而且呢4個字好難界定用法(e.g.see or watch a movie)
