俗語「四萬咁口」是甚麼意思﹖

因為麻雀(游乾水)中的「四萬」只有一個四字
四，就好像一個笑到露齒既口
不用四千既原因是因為那不是麻雀中的「四」
也不能讓人聯想到中國數字的「四」
若只說「四」的話
人家可能誤會是「4」而不是「四」
所以用「四萬咁口」黎形容人地笑得好開心
連牙都露埋出黎

四萬咁口 - this is used to describe a person smiling very happily. It literally means "the mouth is like the four wan tile". (Some people suggest that the origin is that the person really smiles so happily that his mouth does look like the Chinese character for 'four'.)
