No way unless you have good performace in admission interview and good result in both language subjects (at least D or above in one of the lang. subjects.)
Interview consists of individual and/or group interview. Asking question on current issue is a must. During past years, questions like self introduction, the reason of choosing journalism as first choice, kinds of books that you have read, translating and summarising an English article in Chinese, case studies question on mass media, issue related to mass media (e.g. 6 costs of printed media) etc. are also asked.
The above information is just for reference only. It doesn't mean that same question will be asked next year.
But now, the most important thing is to prepare yourself well for the HKAL exam.
P.S.: The principal nomination in last academic year required grade D or above in both language subjects, grade D or above in one AL subject (other that CLC & UE) and grade E or above in another AL subject.

Sometimes, interview can be conducted in both English and Chinese, but all depends on which professor are you interviewing with.
