I highly recommend you search that from Curtin Notice board, it located in every campus, there has many good and cheap item for sale as well, such as 2nd Book, Computer, Car, Accommodation, Font drive, funiture...............You can find the contact detail and contact the seller directly, you can find many cheapest goods~ ^^

If notice board cannot satisfy you, you can ask:
1)Student service centre and search for the accommodation information, you can search for room or house or apartment.
2)Internet: you can seaarch that from: www.reiaustralia.com.au www.century21.com.au www.eldersrealestate.com.au www.raywhite.com.au
www.professionals.com.au www.ljhooker.com.au www.realestate.com.au
Those are popular in Perth. Internet is a good way for searching, but you must know that the agency would charge you 1week or 2 weeks commission. One more thing is you must pay one month for bond.
3) Face to face walk in to the porperty company.
4) Read the newspaper on Wednesday and Saturday, there much choice and some of them not through agency(save commission)

I'm studying in Curtin as well, I suggest you live in Bentley if you no car (arround $120 for 1room $250-300 for house-depends on the size and room). There is damn close to Uni, however the security not good. Another choice is Vic Park, there has better security but a bit far than Bentley(price is similar with Bentley). South Perth is good place, close to Curtin but damn expensive (you can search this area in internet).
I highly recommend you live in campus first, it is because you can get many different country friends and have much fun ($100 a week, all include-electronic, water, gas, internet).

Bentley take bus to city cause 20-30mins
Vic Park 12-20mins
South Perth 10-18 mins

Cheaper than HK, if you got fail, you can keep exam until you pass (but has time limit), not like HK the price is for one time.

買車又大約幾錢?
You don't have to search the car from internet, there must be expensive than Uni's notice board. Don't worry of the choice, there has varied choice, haha^^
Petrol-----Cheaper than HK 50%........today is AUD$1.23 a little. Curtin student Parking has charge, I remember that is AUD$90/1XX a year.

It depends on what thing you want. You can go to the student service centre ask what you want to know/have.

Car lesson is around $30/hour...........other costs (e.g. test, lisence, etc......)are around $1XX something. Therefore, even if you learn 20hours, it would be 20X$30 $1XX = should be within $1000.

咁如果我讀ecu呢？有無好介紹？都係要近city ECU has 3 campus, which one you want to ask? The campus would depends on which course do you choose.1. Mt Lawley and Churchland campus is the closest to city (driving takes around 15mins)

2. Joondalup campus.........damn far from city~ It takes me 25-30mins when I drive at 110/km(legal speed limit) from city to Joondalup or either way. Even by train from city station to Joondalup station, it also takes 30mins.

Curtin and your fd's college is in Bentley(you can search the yellow page, where is Bentley~), not far away, trust me cos I lived there before and there is the nearest place to curtin and that college(Canning collage?).

Vic park is so big, you can search the place you like, there must have some homes not horrible as you think. Please remember (聽人講) can not trust, you must have a look when you arrive. I'm pretty sure not horrible that you think.
