Dear Jack
How are you getting on? Is everything fine with you?
I was really excited while receiving your letter since you haven’t dropped me a line(寫信,idiom) for weeks. It was bad if you felt bored of your study. Honestly speaking, I always feel so all the time but being boring is a lame excuse(水皮的籍口) for us not to try hard on our studies. The most important thing is that lesson is useful other than it is interesting. You have to bear in mind (記得)that our teachers are not stand-up comedians. Does it make sense to you (你同不同意呀)?
Wow! Are you really coming back to Hong Kong? It would be great if you can come back at Christmas. I really miss the time hanging out (出街玩)and having fun with you. Those are wonderful memories, aren’t they? If you really make up your mind (決定)to come back, you have to let me know first.
Recently, I have been occupied(忙) with my studies since(因為) a lot of tests are coming soon. I get a bit freaked out(驚) but I think I can cope with (應付)them if I am industrious(勤力) enough. I am sorry that I have to go now and let us keep working hard.
I am looking forwards to hearing from you soon
Best Regards
