Add lime water into the test tube containing the gas. If lime water turns milky from colourless, the gas is carbon dioxide

1.lime water test ( result milky ppt)
2.flame test ( result flame is pull off coz the co2)

Add lime water (calcium hydroxide solution) to the CO2 and if the lime water turns milky, then CO2 is present.

USE LIME WATER TO TEST WITH IT.
THE POSITIVE RESULT IS THAT THE LIME WATER TURNS MILKY.
