In the mean time, I would prefer to go to Caribbean or other Latin American countries because Peru is still recovering from the recent big earthquake. My recommendation my now. Mexico. Very nice and decent price before Christmas. One good thing, many of the hotels are all inclusive so food, drink and local tour are all included in the price so the cost of your tour should be well under control.
