AC 摩打 和 DC摩打, 有咩分別? 功能上邊個勁D?

1. AC Motor 通常都是電感應式(轉子部分是沒有繞線的), 結構簡單, 耐用, 基本上無須定期檢查維修, 速度最快3000rpm, 扭力不高. 通常家中的風扇或舊式洗衣機都用此類電動機. 變速要改變定子繞組的數目(即摩打內部的設計), 或用齒輪比轉速.
2. DC Motor 轉子和定子都有繞線(小型玩具用的摩打仔, 定子為永久磁鐵式), 同時有電刷(會產生火花), 結構較複雜, 較易壞. 大型的需定期更換電刷和維護, 但有轉速快(可去到幾萬轉)和扭力大(可做小型電鑽)的特點. 通常用於小型玩具, 充電式手提電動工具. 改變電壓便可改變速度.
3. 普用式摩打: 結構和dc motor 一樣, 但電源是ac, 體積小, 速度高, 扭力大, 通常用於手提式電鑽, 吸塵機等. 若能定期維護, 都耐用.

DC motor, 24V very common, e.g. operation shunt trip motor for electricl switch (e.g. up to 1200A)

DC motor: Shunt motor, serial motor, etc..

don't say which one better, because, it must be subject to what kind of application?

AC 摩打 = 體積細，維修容易，速度穩定，馬力大，價錢便宜，用于裝置機械，如要調速就要用變頻器，扭力弱。
DC 摩打 = 扭力強，容易控制速度，可以將交流電整流后用或用電池直流電，用經常移動既機械如起重機，掃地機等，如果可以用電池車都可以，但維修費高。


有D摩打係可以交直流雙用既

小型既 AC Motor 無錯都是電感應式(轉子部分是沒有繞線的)，但係大型既 AC Motor 唔一定係電感應式(轉子部分是沒有繞線的)，比如繞線轉子滑環式 Slip Ring Wire Wound Rotor Motor 就有電刷，需要定期維修，參考http://www.lmphotonics.com/slipring.htm
