(因為大家從歷史都會清楚, 不用再多講, 通常都是人所共知的)

the rest is history 既 meaning:
something that you say when you do not need to finish a story because everyone knows what happened.

Example:
The Beatles signed a recording contract in 1962 and the rest is history.
The Beatles 在1962年簽了...., 而剩下的都是歷史.
