1. The complete combustion of 1.00mol of C12H22O11, releases -5641kJ of energy (at 25C and 100kPa). C12H22O11 (s) + 12O2 (g) to 12CO2 (g) + 11H2O (l)
Use the enthalpy change of this reaction and the enthalpies of formation, to determine the enthalpy of formation of sucrose.

2. A 10.0g sample of pure CH3CO2H, is completely burnt. The heat released warms 2.00L of water from 22.3C to 39.6C. Assuming that no heat was lost to the calorimeter, what is the enthalpy change of the complete combustion of CH3CO2H? Express answer in units of kJ/g and kJ/mol.
