Why we use "Alcohol-in-glass" thermometer?

The alcohol inside the thermometer is usually kept under high-pressure so that its boiling point is well above the value(i.e.78℃)
Therefore, The thermometer can work beyond 78℃

Q1.其實''mercury in glass" thermometer係好用過"Alcohol-in-glass" thermometer嫁!而"Alcohol-in-glass" thermometer既好處就係:
1.alcohol係無毒( not poisonous)
2.可以量度低至115度既野
而壞處就係:
1.唔可以量度78度以上既野
2.對溫度既反應較慢
Q2.要調校好先可以量度到度數
如果你問點樣調校既話:
1.put it in pure melting ice( 0degree )
2.and then in boiling water( 100degree )
**mark them each time and the separation between the two marking is
divided into 100 equal division, each represent 1degree

Q. 1 because the alcohol have a slow respone, when it reach our temp.EG. 37c
and it will not drop rapidly.
Why i say it will not drop rapidly, because the room TEMP. will also affect the thermometer.

Is that u ask why we need to have a thin tube??
because small tube can let the LIQUID have a fast respone
