副學士升讀本地大學問題？(10分)

１〕兩種升學途徑是無大分別，唯一是毅進、副學士先修、副學士的途程較中六、中七的長了約兩至三年才能入大學。

２〕從副學士升上本地大學，與中七升上去本地大學是一致上同班同課室的。　

３〕如你要從副學士升上大學讀工管，首要累積學分(cGPA)超過3.5才能經non jupas報讀本地大學。當然還要看其他因素如面試表現、CE及AL成績、參考信、該學系的收生要求等，你要知道副學士和高級文憑每年共兩萬八只有一千學生能升上本地大學。　　　

４〕副學士升上本地大學，一般享有與其他中七學生相同的權利和義務。

５〕不會給其他學生看不起，相反，因給取錄的副學士是兩萬八人中成績最高的精英，甚至有人直入大學ニ年級，所以這類人是繼內地學生後最被眼紅的，反而是恐怕你們成績太好，拖低他們的學分。但無論如何，畢業找工作的待過與一般大學生是沒有任何分別的。努力爭取最好成績吧！

1. another differences is the $. Associate Degree & Pre Associate Degree will cost you $20,000 - $40,000 a year, while F.6/ F.7 is around $3000 year.(grant & loan would not help much. Interest rate is 2-7% p.a. You will accumlate HK$200,000 - 300,000 when you finished your degree.)

Also, as most students in 毅進/副學士先修/副學士 have below par result in HKCEE/ AL, (i.e below 14pts in HKCEE/ All E or lower in AL) in one way it should be easier to get a good result, but at the same time competition is tighter. (3.5 GPA means you need to get at least 50% B+ and 50% A-, not easy)

In addition, as the enviroment is more relax, you have to been very self-discipline, for that 3-5 years.

So, no easy lay!!

But one more good news, as F6 & 7 is tailor made for going to University, it is more academic oriented. So it means nothing if you can't get in. While AD is more occupational oriented, it is easier to get a job.

2, 4 & 5) same as the above.

3) One more reminded, if you wanna get in good U, like HKU, CUHK, UST/ PolyU, you better apply their Pre AD/ AD program. Own students would have a little advantage on others.

HKCEE and AL is not that hard. IVE could be an in-between optional. It is cheapier and the program is better.
Pre AD is so expensive, provided the quality and facilities; it is a major income source for all Universitie. That's why even HKU and CUHK open Pre AD.
AD in IVE and HKU Space is same, but programs in IVE are much better.
