Windows Vista 裏面有好多features都冇講，講XP咁多做乜？

Vista is northing more than trouble, it is mush slower then window xp, and I use 1 wks time to solve incompatibilities of hard ware and soft ware that currently use in window xp.

I just install window vista last week ($1280 for home premium). Before I bought it I use the "window vista update adversor" to scan my computer to ensure my old computer is capable to UPGRADE to window vista. Only minor problems found, and they provide their solution seems to be just downloan update driver then the problem gone.

First I am too silly to trust their check list, and believe that all problem are listed out. second I had not contact my vendor before I brought the window vista. After I install the window vista, I solve multiple problems and the most annoy problems are : I lost my sound card driver (I use 2 days in home to search for solution and found out that it is a common problem after window vista installaion). And my mp4 is not recognized by the computer. Those problem are not mention in the window vista update adversor check list.

I try to upgrade all those driver, but the solution is not easy to found on the internet. Directly contact the vendor is the only effective way. (first you need to keep all those invoice, and the vendor still available). The sound card driver is ok. but my mp4, one of it is YES PMP (I contact the vendor for driver update, and they replied that no suitable driver for window vista in the mean time). Another mp4 is Dowon D2 PMP (I contact the vendor, and they had update driver for window vista, but I need to down loan the driver by OS window xp first). Trouble!!!!

I try to contact the Microsoft technical support in HK, (they provide 90 days free technical support, it sound great, but......) they provide useless answer. They told me that: I only need to contact the vendor and update the driver, then problems solve, if the product don't had the driver to support window vista, it is not micorsoft's problem.

And I also ask for why the window update advosor not mention all those problem before I install the window vista, he replied that those problem are too detail to scan for, so only very critical problem, and those will affect the window opperation will be found.

Yes! my computer can work in window vista after multiple problem gone. And my mp4 can wait till the vendor update their driver, it is totally not microsoft problem to fit other device, it should be other device to fit window vista.

I hate his answer, but he is right, may be I need to buy a new computer, to ensure all hard ware and soft ware are compatible with window vista. Or in a better way, not to downgrade from a easy, convenience, user friendly OS, and most important is that most of your soft ware and accessory device may not support window vista.

Vista暫時未有優化所以食Ram食死你,我試過俾佢食左1G ram(只運行未計做野)(我部機2G)
而且新功能比較煩好多時要你作選擇,雖然是說系統會比較安全但是入光碟,downlaod都要過問長久的話會覺得煩
所以我暫時都不提議upgrade Vista,因為它暫時不完美,有很多細節要更進,和如果你的機子沒有4G ram,雙核心cpu和高級少少的顯卡都不要更新

我覺得XP 好用D LOR~~
