The alarm went off while I was asleep therefore I didn't hear it .這句中的“went off”意思是不是個鐘壞了

唔係呀...係呢句句子裏面係解個鬧鐘係你訓覺果陣響左所以你聽唔到!!!
go off既另外意思:
if we dont eat this yoghurt, it will go off.
如果我地重唔食個乳酪, 佢就會過期.

went off = 熄0左, 當你熟睡時你熄了個鐘,所以你聽唔到........
