It is no need to pay tax. But I mention to you that if you leave UK, a laptop counts as a handcarry, so the people will put into a big handcarry to reduce the problems. On the otherhand, from hk, you can do as usual.This is because the hk airline is better than uk airline and the uk airline want to get more money from customers.
You mentioned limited properties are some tax products such as products they paid 3 % of tax in hk but pay 10% in uk, so you need to pay the different 7%. But if only for personal, it is free but if it is for commercial, you need to pay tax.

反HK咁嚴重..下-.- 唔知喔, 因為多次過海關都要我將兩個BAGS變成1個..所以拎一個袋比較保險~如果唔係拎2個到時塞唔到變成1個就有D煩了~
