First, go to major travel agencies (e.g. 金怡, 康泰) and see what "must-see" tourist attractions in Czech. I assume they visit Praha (Prague) only.
Second, you browse

Thirdly, you can go to the bookstore to buy some travel books (Lonely Planet or others) and copy their itinerary.

December is disasterous. Bloody cold and gets dark very early at 4pm. You should go in May with better temperatures and more daylight.
There may be some people hanging around in train stations, who claims themselves to be agents for hotels / hostels. Stay away from them.
Try the Czech pilsener. They're nice.
