Like studying history:
Primary level answer: History book has a lot of colorful pictures. They are interesting, not as boring as other language books.
Secondary level answer: You just need to remember instead of to think stories in the History book. You should pass the exam.
University level answer: History is what you can learn from the historical objects, such as books, buildings, drawings, maps, and clothes. It consolidates the experience and knowledge of the ancient people. It can be used to evaluate the current conditions and to estimate the future conditions. To be a man that can foresee the long-term future, you should study history.

Dislike studying history:
Primary level answer: History books is not funny as the comix books.
Secondary level answer: History is a boring subject. You can pass the exam even you don't attend the class.
University level answer: History is all about the old stuff. Nowaday, a modern world does not need old stuffs but the new stuffs. Exploring the new stuffs is more challenging than doing the old ones.
