一共有42人去個party星期一有2個fd去個party
星期二有4個fd去個party
星期三有6個fd去個party
星期四有8個fd去個party
星期五有10個fd去個party
星期六有12個fd去個party
合共有:2+4+6+8+10+12=42

I am not sure what you r asking, which saturday?
but if each one of the two person ask two to come to the party,
We can observe such trend:
Day 1- 1 person
Day 2- 1+2 =3 people
Day 3- 1+2+4 = 7 people
Day 4- 1+2+4+8 = 15 people
etc
1 = 2^0
2 = 2^1
4 = 2^2
8 = 2^3
etc
If we sub the above into our trend,
Day 1 = 2^0
Day 2 = 2^0 + 2^1
Day 3 = 2^0 + 2^1 + 2^2
Day n = 2^0 + 2^1 + 2^2+...+ 2^(n-1)
etc
so, day 6 (first saturday across the two weeks),
we get such statement:
2^0 + 2^1 + ... + 2^5
=63 people
OR
so, day13 (second Sat. across the two weeks),
we get such statement:
2^0 + 2^1 + ... + 2^12
= 8191 people
