你而家惡補都冇用不如你自己同佢出街果時，扮明就得架啦
佢上網打字係用中英夾雜，但係未必佢講野都係中英夾雜o既
其實作為一個好o既學者，講野係絕對唔會兩種語言夾埋，除左佢冇法用佢o既語言表達。
不過你可以直接就咁講中文，因為有時中英夾雜o係好討厭，時中時英，我o的朋友去完留學返黎，講中文永遠都係純中文，冇任何英文單字，呢o的咪叫有知識，因為你自己學好左一種用語，就不必依靠外語黎補充本語o既字，所以你唔洗怕架，純中咪純中囉！
不過如果你想學多o的英文字，又想聽多o的英文(練埋listening)，就可以去睇下o的外國電視劇，有o的大陸網係有好多美劇下網，我自己o既英文listening都係靠睇美劇出黎，因為真係好好睇，而佢地講下講下，你又聽下聽下，咁你又有睇subtitle(唔識打..)，咁你自己就會進步好快架啦。同埋多o的睇英文報紙=]

其實學英文真係唔洗比咁多錢係外面讀, 因為我地香港人都會有一定的英文底. 之前我係yahoo度揾度個賣語言教材(有英文書冊連光碟)的公司, 如果您剛開始學英文, 可以買一的初級教材自學先, 一來唔洗一開始就比幾千蚊人地, 二來你可以睇下自己係咪真係有興趣. 佢地的書多數都係幾十元度…..
的書仲全部有光碟跟埋, 跟住學都好易上手, 或者入埋部mp3機度日日聽, 好快就上口啦…! 你睇下呢個 site 啦…

actually yr gf is not a native speaker, right?
chinese is her mother toun, therefore she should speak in at least 70% chinese,
therefore i think u need not worry about that.
i am also a EMI girl, but i think eng vocab need to accumulated, no intensive course or method could enhance and enrich yr vocab, therefore u should learn eng day by day and it depends on yr basis and talent.
