3(x^2)-xy-(y^2)-(a^2)=0

by differentiating the equation

6x-y-x(dy/dx)-2y(dy/dx)=0

(dy/dx) = (6x-y)/(2y+x)

(dy/dx) at P = 5a / 3a = 5 / 3
