How to understand the phrases like "for which, by which, from which, at which.....etc"? In what situation should we use them? How to determine the preposition "for, by, from, at" before the word "which"? Please try to explain with examples based on your personal learning experience.

They are inversions.

For example,
This is the shop from where I bought this book
= This is the shop, I bought this book from there.

We use prep + noun when the noun is an object (not the subject)
