the dress code at my school is all solid colors (except for camis, shoes, headbands, etc..)

also: no jeans, no open-toe or open-back shoes, no heels higher than 1 in. & no short skirts or short shorts.

i like stores such as aero, ae, wetseal, A&F, and hollister.. but i'm gonna try not to spend TOO much money. thanks!
更新1:

oh yeah, and sweats are considered out of dresscode too.

Easy, except for the shoes (for me =p ... I always wear solid colours... but closed toe shoes very rarely)

Top... well almost any style goes, right? As long as it's solid colour. I'd choose a t-shirt (or tank top IF it's allowed and the weather's really hot)... with a pretty colour, of course. You could choose a different colour every day.

And wear a skirt. Not-so-short skirts are always cuter than not-so-short shorts ~_^. Length = going down to your fingertips is the rule in most schools, I think, but still short enough to look really cute!!

Shoes... I never wear closed toe shoes when I have a choice (i.e. when the temperature's above freezing), so ehhh... maybe flats like the others said would be cutest?

At least you don't have a school uniform. Actually, I DID have a uniform when I was at school (just a year ago... it seems so long ago now!), but I quite liked it, especially the skirt. Of course, the closed-toe shoe rule irked me a LOT. Hahaha.

My suggestions are pretty rudimentary, so I think you'd be able to buy such clothes anywhere. I don't live in the US so I don't know any of the brands you mentioned but (referring to the answer right above) we do have Gap here in England and they're not bad. I have quite a few clothes from Gap and they're nice and simple but cute enough, just what I like.

(Since you answered my question... yeah, I wear sandals/flip-flops all the time, but I'm just never barefoot unless I'm at home. Maybe it's the Asian in me: always put shoes on outdoors, always go barefoot indoors, it's how we were taught ^.~)

I think you should go with some cute slid tees and long-sleeve tops from american eagle and even the GAP. I know a lot of people havesomething against the GAP but the truth is, that is a great place to get a nice-fitting, solid, and simple t-shirt. Go with your own style. Oh, and that would be good for your budget because the GAP isn't too expensive. As far as pants, try cargos, some long shorts, like, to the knee or just above it, and some long skinny pants. They don't have to be jeans, i know you can find some at H&M or even Urban Outfitters. I'm not 1000% sure but I have seen some friends who wear pants like that and thye say that they are available at those stores. As far as this STRICT dresscode, don't let it put you down. Play up and make your look exciting by adding splashes of color with some really funky earrings, headbands, berets, hats, and some cool and fun shoes or bracelets and rings. Whatever you choose, I hope you'll look great. Just stay true to your own style.
