How can I convince my mom to let me get an emo haircut, again?

I used to have my hair emo style. Short from the back and long from the front, but I cut it. Now I want to let it grow again, but my mom is being stupid and saying that if I let my hair grow again, that I can forget about her and not to stand in front of her. It's really annoying seeing as how she doesn't like none of that stuff. She really gets to me. Should I just let it grow and not care what she says? (I'm pretty sure she won't quit on my life.) or what can I do to just convince her?

well,thaz what happened to me too,i wanted to let my bangs grow in the front ,but my mum was not letting me do it(she does'nt approve for emo stuff).but i told her thaz what a want and thaz how i want me to be, you should talk to her calmly,i know how mums can be so fussy.

I Thought EMO guys dindn't need approval from their moms to whore those stuffs that makes them say they are EMO..
