投訴信,求幫忙

在一間shop買了一個680$,good brand的收音機,條友講都好好,跟住發現部野壞的,跟住無得退貨.,我唔知點作,投訴佢,可否幫我作,或者比一些較相同的例子信我學作,因為我都未寫過投訴信. 求幫忙!

You should write your MAIN PURPOSE of writing the letter. Your expression "I am writing to complain..." is alright, but you may consider using some more "polite" wordings like "I am writing to express my concern/discontentme nt about ..." so as to please the receiver for quicker response.

You should then write about your experience of the service and why you need to complain about it. For example, you may say that the food was not hot and is too salty, the goods are damaged or of the wrong colour/tyoe etc. You should also request for actions to be taken, i.e. writing a letter of apology, refund or improving their service etc.

>>應該分幾多段好?
Normally three to four paragraphs are enough. However if you have more complaints or if you want to clearly describe the course of the event, then it's alright to use 5 paragraphs, or even more (don't waste time writing irrelevant information). There are three main aspects to mention:
1) Introduction: what you're complaining for
2) The course (經過) of your trip/service provided
3) What actions should be taken by the company

In Syllabus B of HKCEE Eng you're required to write 300 words. Recommended weight of each paragraph:
1) Introduction: about 75 words
2) Course and why you're dissatisfied: about 150-175 words (even 200 is acceptable)
3) Request for actions: about 75-100 words.

All in all, you should allocate in the ratio 1:2:1.

Yours faithfully is used when you're writing to people whose names are not known, i.e. if you use Dear Sir/Madam, then use Yours faithfully.
Yours sincerely is used when you're writing to people whose surnames/first names are known, i.e. use Yours sincerely whenever you start with Dear Mr. Chan / Ms. Wong etc.
Tip: Don't miss out the "s" after "Yours"!

Dear Sirs,

I have bought a xxx radio from xxxx on xxxx . The salesman said that the radio had a good conditions but no long it was out of order. I have tried to complaint the shop to return the radio but they didn't want to replace the new one for me.

Please help and try to negoiate with xxxx for replacement a good conditioned radio for me.
