In a multiple-choice test, there are 24 questions. For each question, 4 marks are given for a correct answer, 3 marks are deducted for an incorrect answer and 2 marks are deducted for an no answer. John attempts 18 questions, and only answers 9 questions correctly. Find his final score.

=4(18-9) + (-3)x9 + (-2)(24-18)
=4x9 + (-27) + (-12)
=36 - 27 - 12
=-3
=0

即係佢答岩 9條, 答錯9條, 沒有回答6條
所以佢應得的分數係:
答對分數-答錯分數-沒有回答的分數
= 9*4 - 9*3 - 6*2
= 36-27-12
=-3
所以阿john的分數應為負三分。

No answer : 24 - 18 = 6 questions
Score from Correct answers : 9 x 4 = 36
Deduct score from wrong answers : 9 x 3 = 27
Deduct score from questions without answer : 6 x 2 = 12
Total score : 36 - 27 - 12 = -3

therefore his score are -3
