UTS doesn't have pharmacy ~ only Usyd has it in Sydney. UTS has medical science
I am a current student in UTS doing medical science
Pharmacy and medical science are different, althought the first year they do similar subjects. Pharmacy , you can become a pharmacist. Whereas medical science you learn things about how human body work, after you graduate you can work in labs or clinics to do some blood test etc. you may also do research project.
In the first year of medical science you do subjects such as chemistry, medical science ( histology ) , cells genetics, biomolecules and physical aspect of nature ...
It is much harder to get in pharmacy then medical science, and B medical science degree is offered in all 3 universities : UNSW, UTS and Usyd.
hope it helps ~

However, u can always transfer to pharm from med sci, but ofcoz u hv to work really hard coz is very competitive. B Med Sci is a 3 yrs course whereas B Pharm is 4 yrs. If u did the 3 yrs course of Med sci, after u graduate u can always apply for the Master Degree of Pharm, which is an extra 2 yrs
