A shop sells three grads of coffee beans , A,B and C, which weight 1kg, 2kg and 5 kgeach bag respectively.The number of bags of grade A coffee beans is 3 more than 5 times that of grade C coffe beans, while the number of bags of grade B coffee beans is 2 less than 4 times that of grade C coffee beans. The total weight of the three grades of coffee beans is 215kg. If y is the number of bags of grade C coffee beans,

The number of bags of grade A is 5y + 3, and that of grade B is 4y - 2. Then,
1(5y + 3) + 2(4y - 2) + 5y = 215
5y + 3 + 8y - 4 + 5y = 215
18y - 1 = 215
18y = 216
y = 216/18 = 12
The number of bags of grade A = 5(12) + 3 = 63
The number of bags of grade B = 4(12) - 2 = 46
The number of bags of grade C = 12
Check that 63 + 2(46) + 5(12) = 215
