英文中有無冒號?

英文中是有冒號的，用法跟中文的差不多。

根據牛津高階英漢雙解詞典的附錄的標點符號用法，
冒號有以下解釋和用法：

英文中的冒號叫Colon，用法如下：
1. Used after a term describing a group or class or linking phrase (e.g as follows, in the following manner) to introduce a list of items. 用於表示一些或一類事物的用語之後或用於有關係的詞義，用來提起下文各項。

e.g. His library consists of two books: the Bible and Shakespeare.


2. (formal) Used before a clause or phrase that illustrates or explains the main clause. （鄭重文體）用於說明或解釋主句的從句或詞組之前。

e.g. The garden had been neglected for a long time: it was overgrown and full of weeds.


***英文中的「句號」和「分號」也可用來代替「冒號」***
