瑞 士 私 人 銀 行 在 香 港 開 設 亞 太 總 部

瑞士 ＥＦＧ 私人銀行在香港設立的分行正式揭幕，此分行亦是該銀行的亞太總部。

香港金融管理局副總裁簡達恆及投資推廣署署長盧維思，今天（五月二十三日）出席瑞士 ＥＦＧ 私人銀行舉行的酒會，慶祝其設在香港的分行開幕。

瑞士 ＥＦＧ 私人銀行主席顧康年指出，香港地理位置優越及具透明度的銀行規例，促使該銀行決定在香港這個亞洲國際都會設立地區總部。

該銀行是香港第三家獲授予銀行牌照的瑞士銀行，欲以香港為基地，為亞太區客戶提供本地化的私人銀行服務，抓緊區內龐大的商機。

瑞士 ＥＦＧ 私人銀行亞太區行政總裁趙宗彥說︰「我們致力發展亞洲市場，特別在香港這個營商的好地方。」

他又說︰「設立亞太總部是重要的一步，我們現已作好準備，為客戶提供全面的區內及離岸私人銀行服務。」

瑞士 ＥＦＧ 私人銀行自二○○○年六月成立代辦處，及作為證券商／經紀以來，發展至現今設立分行，已聘用接近六十名職員。

盧維思今日在記者招待會上說︰「我們祝賀瑞士 ＥＦＧ 私人銀行在香港成立亞太總部取得成功。作為國際金融中心，香港能為銀行界提供有利的營商環境。香港的金融服務及銀行設施效率高，加上鄰近中國大陸的優勢，凡此種種，對該銀行今後的運作來說，實在是無與倫比的資產。」

瑞士 ＥＦＧ 私人銀行總部設於蘇黎世，是 ＥＦＧ　Ｂａｎｋ　Ｇｒｏｕｐ 的附屬公司。該集團以資本計，是瑞士的大銀行集團之一，在十四個國家設有辦事處，遍佈世界各地，聘用九千名職員。

投資推廣署是香港特別行政區政府轄下的部門，專責吸引外來直接投資，並為有意在港開拓業務的海外企業提供協助。
