yes, just tell your accounts that you've written your hsbc a/c number at the back so that they can deposit for you... you have to deposit directly at HSBC branches or at their Instant Cheque Deposit machines (no matter what the the cheque issuing bank is, you still can deposit to your HSBC account)

as long as you deposit before the Instant Cheque Deposit machine's cut off time, different location has different cut off time (some are 4:30pm, 5:00pm or even 5:30pm), and if the cheque hasn't got any problem, then the fund will be available for you in the next working day at 3pm.
