check my grammar pls

Last night I was lonely at home because my husband took Ann,
my daughter, to New York to see his parents. At
8 o'clock I decided to watch TV . I turned the TV set and
started to watch a drama. I am not usually interested in dramas but I was delighted watching this one.I was enjoying it very much when something happened to the
picture.

I tried hard to adjust the set because I wanted to see who
turned out to be the murderer, but the set was out of control and
the picture was too bad that i finally gave up, turned off
the set and went to bed at nine, much earlier than usual.

Last night I was (alone) at home because my husband (had taken) Ann,mydaughter, (to) New York to see his parents. At8:00 o'clock(, )I decided to watch TV .( I turned on the TV ) andstarted to watch a TV play.(Usually) I am not interested in TV plays but I was (completely) delighted with (that )one.I (enjoyed) it very much. (Suddenly,something wrong happened. I could not see the picture clearly. I tried hard to adjust the TV set because I wanted to see who turned out to be the murderer in the play.Unfortunately, the TV set was out of order and the picture was too bad for me to go on watching the play. Finally I had to give up, turn off the TV and go to bed at nine, much earlier than usual.)

只是針對文法, 留意如下數點:-
(1) I was complete delighted 的 complete 應改為 completely; 應用副詞
(2) was happened 的 happened 應改為 happening
(3) I want 的 want 應改為 wanted
(4) turned off 的 off 應改為 out
(5) too bad 的 too 應改為 so
(6) much early 的 early 應改為 earlier.
當然, 句語結構, 用詞等等還要多磨練, 例如, 應用 TV programs, 不是 TV plays. 整篇文是中文式的英文, 即 Chinglish. 多看些課外書本, 英文報章 South China Morning Post, 英文電視台, 特別是新聞台, 對閣下一定有幫助.

Last night i was lonely staying at home. my husband has taken Ann, our daughter, to new york to visit his parents. Around 8 o'clock, I decided to watch TV, which I don't usually interest of. However last night's show was completely delightful and enjoyable. While I was still watching. all the sudden, the TV went bad. I tried to adjusted it. but couldn't get it to fix. finally i gave up and went to bed earlier then usual. an unsolved mystery of that movie was still clinging on my mind.
