There are 6 Arts books in a bookcase .The number of Arts books in that books is 25% that of Scientific fictions,and the number of Scientific fictions is 40% of the whole of books how many books are there in the bookcase?

假設有 x books in the bookcasethe number of Scientific fictions = 0.4x
the number of Arts books =0.25*0.4x
0.1x = 6
x = 60
There are 60 books in the bookcase

the no. of Scientific fictions = 0.4x
the no. of Arts books =0.25*0.4x=0.1x=6, x=60
so there have 60 books in the bookcase
