tutorial class = 補習班

tutor = 補習老師 (e.g. He is a tutor 他是位補習老師)

tutor 亦 = 補習 (動詞) (e.g. He is tutoring her 他替她補習)

tutor is 補習 in america is 補習 or 補習老師
tutorial is 指導課, like a guide to go along
