You can have a look at the following:

Collins Robert French Dictionary: French-English/English-French;

The Oxford-Hachette French Dictionary: French-English, English-French; or

Larousse Advanced Dictionary: French-English/English-French (Larousse Advanced Dictionary).

One dictionary will allow you to look up meanings from English to French (and vice versa).

Go for a desk-top size (rather than pocket-size for use in class) as there are more examples and the fonts are much easier to read.

gy61588571:Of course, going to France in person is the best bet. In HK, Parentheses in Central has the best stock of French publications. Otherwise, Swindon Books, Hong Kong Book Centre, Page One or even Commercial Press (三聯), Page One, they can order for you if the title is out of stock.
