水加牛油煲到牛溶化,見到大氣泡就熄火。

2. 到入麵粉快速攪拌成麵團。
3. 待涼後加蛋到麵團(分幾次)攪拌。
4. 用湯匙分成1粒粒,拎去炸,炸完在砂糖上滾動,便成。

Sa Yung (Chinese Donut) is a Hong Kong's local delicacy for the sweet tooth. The dough made with egg, butter and flour, deep fried and then roll with sugar. It's name after the French dessert " Sabayon " , which is serve with sugar sprinkle on top. Sabayon can be served with fruit as filling, e.g. diced strawberries. Yet "Sa Yung" is serve without fruit, with a soft and tasty texture. With the similarity of sugar sprinkle on top, Sa Yung is named after "Sabayon".

Ingredient:

Water 100ml
Butter 30g
egg 2
Flour 60g
Sugar a little

Method:

1. add butter to water, boil till butter melts. Switch off when bubbled.
2. add flour and wipe quickly to make soft dough
3. when dough cool down, add eggs (several times) and mixed well
4. use a spoon to separate dough into spoonful, then deep fry. When cooked, roll the dough with sugar.
