1. We would like to inform you that the meeting will be hold in 2 January 2007.

2. We would grateful to inform you that Mr William will be joining in our company on
January 2007.

我想問第1句用will be hold
第2句用 will be joining

第2句用 on January 2007.

will be hold - 啫係會舉行既意思

will be joining - 啫係會加入
will be joining = will join

2nd jan 2007 -

第1句應該係用will be held, 唔係hold (passive tense, 唔係present tense)因為佢用左will be. 如果係will be後面-動詞可以 ing or 用passive tense2樣都係差不多,不過will be held係被動will be joining, 就係主動

其實一個明確既日子應該係用oneg: 2nd jan,2007 所以佢其實應該用on(星期幾都係用on, eg: on wednesday)係一個月份/年份之前就應該用ineg: in january/ in 2007

1, should be "will be held" - passive voice.
The meeting

2. But if you want to use "join", then you should write "I =subject" will join the meeting. It's not necessary to write "will be joining".

3. Date should be used "on" for both sentence.
