Yahoo!Finance provides a function to download spreadsheet on the stock data.

I use Office XP to import the text data to spreadsheet but unable to refresh the data like the Web Query. How can I import the text and refresh it?

I assume you will be using Excel to import the Data and here is how

Open a blank workbook -> from the menu, select " Data " -> " Import External Data " -> " New Web Query ", now go to yahoo finance website and login with your ID and password. Select the table that you want to import by clicking on the " yellow arrow ", then click " Import " at the bottom right hand corner and hit " OK " on the next pop-up.

To refresh data, go to " Data " from the menu bar and hit " refresh data " or add that icon on the menu bar for your own convenience.

Hope this helps

Can you take a snap shot of that Open box / pop-up?

When you download the file, it should only give you 3 options and they are OPEN, SAVE and CANCEL. The only way to refresh the data is to save the quotes.csv file over and over again if you prefer downloading the file
