Area of a triangle: 15b/2
Area of a parallelogram: hb

Area of a triangle = Area of a parallelogram

So, hb = 15b/2

2hb = 15b

2hb /b = 15

2h = 15

h = 7.5

Let the height of the parallelogram be h cm and the base be b cm

=> hb=15b/2
hb=7.5b
h=7.5b/b
h=7.5
The height of the parallelogram is equal to 7.5.

The area of parallelogram : h x b (cm2)
The area of triangle : (15 x b)/ 2 (cm2)

b x h = (15 x b) /2
(b x h) / b = [(15 x b)/2] / b
h = 15 / 2
h = 7.5cm
so the high of parallelogram be 7.5cm

b x h = 15b/2
h = 15/2

hence the height of the parallelogram is 15/2 (7.5).

let the height of the parallelogram be h cm and bases be b cm
Parallelogram area = hb
Triangle area = 0.5*height*b (as they have same base)
= 0.5(15)b
= 7.5b
7.5b = hb
Therefore, h = 7.5
b can be any value.
