The inital vertical speed of the ball is 0

So, by v = u + at

v = 0 + 10 X 3

v = 30 m/s

So, the vertical speed of the ball is 30 m/s after 3 s.
And the horizontal speed of the ball is 20 m/s after 3 s.

Velocity of the ball
=sq. root (30^2 + 20^2)
=36.1 m/s

And the direction is
= tan^-1 (30/20)
= 56.3* to the horizontal

So, the velocity of the ball after 3 s is 36.1 m/s and 56.3* to the horizontal.

by v=u+at
v=20+10(3)
v=53ms^-1
