I think seeds and plants are not okay... and last year a lot of ppl have trouble bringing moon cakes here... but I guess if u use professional courier it's ok since they will let u know what is ok what is not... so before u ship the goods make sure u ask.

I don't know where in Canada you are sending to. I live in Vancouver and we have "Kay Wai" and "May Sum" so I think u can send them some gift cards. And we have pretty big China Towns in major cities so 唐餅 is not that foreign to people here. But it's very nice of you, I wish I am your relative heehee.
