An old lady went out shopping last Tuesday. She came to a bank and see a car near the door. A man got out of it and went into the bank. She looked into the car . The keys were in the lock.

The old lady took the keys and followed the man into the bank.
The man took a gun out of his pocket and said to the clerk, ; Give me all the money !&;.



But the old lady did not see this . She went to the man , put the keys in his band and said ; Young man, you;re stupid! Never leave your keys in you car : Someone;s going to steal it !;


The man looked at the old woman for a few seconds. Then he looked at the clerk - and then he took his keys , ran out of the bank, got into his car and drove away quickly, without any money.

在第一段第一行的saw,要改做see,因為to之後的verb不變.而在最後一段的weman和hank應該改成woman和bank.

頭一句的「 intersting」應該係「interesting」,而「I thank the old lady is very lucky」應該係「| think the old lady was very lucky」而「but he was not killed the old lady」應該係「but he did not killed the old lady」.E-mai|:[email protected]如果英文有唔識,可以send我的E-mail給我!

{unlike Chinese, it is not usual to use because and then but in English.}
{was killed is passive voice. - he was not killed = The man was not being killed. Not the old lady was not killed.}

WEll,this story is quite boring.In fact, I always saw this kind of passage when I am in primany level. I think some actions of the old lady are not needed.

我的感想：
I think the story' s old lady was very good, because she saved the clerk and people's money.

"I thank the old lady is very lucky" should be "I think the old lady was very lucky"
The last sentence should be " but he did not kill the old lady."
