put a=2 into 5,4-c=5
c=-1

put a=2,c=-1 into 1,1+b=4

x^4-6x^2+9=(x^2-3)^2

x^4-6x^2+9-4x^2=(x^2-3)^2-(2x)^2
=(x^2+2x-3)(x^2-2x-3)=(x+3)(x-1)(x-3)(x+1)

4. y=3nx/4+(2n-1)x to n
