1. 可以開銀行戶口嗎?? --> Yes you can. Both HSBC and Bank of East Asia can open an UK account and advise on the mortgage.

2. 要比機多成首期?? --> Minimum deposit is 10%. However, there are exception for 0% deposit. It depends if the property is for investment or self-use.

3. 手續費和律師費點計,大約幾錢?? --> Stamp duty is 0% under 120,000 pounds, 1% 120,001 - 250,000 pounds, 3% 250,001- 500,000 pounds, 4% for 500,001 pounds or above.

律師費 = cheapest 350 pounds + VAT (17.5%)

Then Bank transfer is usually 35 pounds, title transfer is 8 pounds + other local search fees.
