既唔係「par」亦唔係「part」，而係「per．ti．cul．la」
是否我聽錯?

錯!是讀 Par-ti-cu-la (可能我聽得少, 從未聽過讀 perticular的)
但同意英語確有不同地方性的口音.
例如: MacDonald. 在美國無人讀..麥donald, 而是 Mic-donald.
在英國西北部近蘇格蘭的口音, Love 讀做 Luv (音:露芙)
在澳洲, Day 讀做 Die (試讀 good day today!) 又 Way 讀做 Y 等.
並無取笑意識, 只是提出研究一下.

I just listened to the Yahoo Dict. 發音聽 :ParticularParticularlyParticularism等等十多廾次, 大細聲都試過, 跟本沒有: Perticular or Purticular 的音.肯定是 Par-ti-cu-la (part-tik-cu-lar)Nothing personal, just to make sure.

Refering to the Yahoo dictionary. Particular should be pronounced as per．ti．cul．la not part
