1) Expected score:
4/7 x 2 + 3/7 x (-2)
= 2/7
P.S. : 4/7 : P(Odd), 3/7 : P(Even)
2) P ( 4 & E) :
1/3 x 1/5
= 1/15
P.S. vowels: A,E,I,O,U
1)point: 2 -2
probaility: 4/7 3/7
the expected score : 2(4/7) + (-2)(3/7)
=2/7
2) probability of getting 4: 1/3
probability of getting E: 1/5
the probability that the result is‘4’ and 'E’: 1/3 X 1/5 = 1/15.
1) expected score:
4/7*2+3/7*-2
=2/7
2) Probability:
1/15
參考: myself
