I have been learning Spanish on my owe for about 3 years. I bought the self-learning set called "Take Off in Spanish" - Oxford University Press. I find it a very useful set of books with CDs. It is designed for independent study. Also, www.studyspanish.com is a good website to visit.

There are some Spanish grammar books in the book shops. Go and have a look and you might find some of them which are quite useful~

I hope this can help you.
Buenas suertes!

You can try Introductory Certificate in Spanish at HKU SPACE:
http://www.hkuspace.edu.hk/web_course/course_list.php?keyword=spanish&content=eng
Courses begin in September and they have lots of learning centers on HK island, so there should be one that is convenient to you.
I think it is very important to start learning a language with some guidance before going onto self-study. It will give you the best chance to know the basics right: pronounciations, tone, etc. With interactions with a group of people it will give you more encouragement and keep your interests going.
Hope you will enjoy this beautiful language! Buenas Suertas - Good Luck!
