area of a parallelogram = bxh area of a triangle = b x5 /2
The area of a parallelogram is equal to the area of a triangle,
i.e. bxh = b x5 /2
the two figures have the same base => h = 5/2 =2.5 cm
so the height of the parallelogram is 2.5cm

area of triangle = 5 x b /2
now, their area are equal, i.e. h x b = 5 x b/2
=> h = (5/2) x (b/b) = 5/2 =2.5 cm

=> h = (5/2) x (b/b) = 5/2 =2.5 cm
