英文, 兩個 verb同時出現問題

我係本書到見到一句短句子

He looked distinctly ruffled.

但發現 looked 同 ruffled 都係一個 verb 黎
究竟呢句有無任何文法錯誤?
謝謝

若你打開英文文法書participle這一課,你會發覺participle,分詞其實也可以用作像形容詞來修飾名詞,如:
不論現在分詞,或過去分詞也可以當作形容詞用
a singing bird, a living creature, a running dog
a broken cup等
其意其實也可以用關係子句(relative claus)表達,如:
a singing bird=a bird which is singing
a broken cup=a cup which is broken
所以,He looked distinctly ruffled,其實只有一個主動詞,looked;而ruffled只是分詞用來作He的補語(complement),全句意思是:他看來明顯生氣

ruffled is an adjective in the sentence, describing his look

我諗呢句野應該無錯...
雖然ruffled 有ed,但吾一定係verb,可能本身呢個字就係有ed.可能只係形容詞.
參考: 自己
